Christopher Tainter, MD, RDMS, is an intensivist and emergency physician at the University of California, San Diego. Raised in Seattle, Dr. Tainter received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He then completed an emergency medicine residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, and a fellowship in anesthesia critical care medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is the fellowship director for UCSD's emergency medicine/anesthesia critical care medicine fellowship program.
