Martin D. Cheatle, MD, is an associate professor of psychiatry, anesthesiology, and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He is also the director of behavioral medicine in the Penn Pain Management Center. Dr. Cheatle’s primary research is focused on the treatment of opioid use disorders in patients with chronic pain and improving pain care and risk of suicide in patients with pain and substance use disorders.
